Mollie is a Nurse Practitioner and has a Masters degree in Science of Nursing from Herzing University, and an Associates degree as a Paramedic. She also holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, NIHSS stroke certification, sexual assault nurse examiner, domestic violence/strangulation, CAOC hearing conservation, NIOSH spirometry, and DOT medical examiner.
She believes in the education and prevention of illness, and encourages patients to actively participate in making their own personal healthcare decisions. Mollie wants to help patients avoid being a slave to healthcare, and instead see it as an adjunct to their overall wellness. She thinks Healthcare should be accessible and affordable to everyone, allow for people to be heard, and should therefore foster the development of a trusting relationship with one’s provider.
In Mollie’s own words: “I knew I wanted to be in healthcare since I was a young child. My mother became ill when I was in high school and that experience furthered my drive to be a change in a broken system. I have experienced many areas of healthcare in the last 23 years of my career, but the majority of my time was spent in Emergency Services and forensics before moving toward Primary Care. I look forward to establishing a slower paced practice where I can build relationships and spend the needed time with patients who want to take charge of their health.”
