Hailey Sawtelle

Hailey Sawtelle, LPC, holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. With over 5 years of experience in the mental health realm, Hailey has gained extensive experience working in roles such as crisis intervention specialist, case manager/service facilitator, and psychotherapist. Her therapeutic approach is built on a foundation of Person-Centered and Trauma-Informed care, and enhanced by techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Hailey’s approach is rooted in the idea that true transformation begins with empowerment. She’s passionate about helping people recognize their own capacity for healing and growth, creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can openly explore both their struggles and strengths. One of her standout qualities as a counselor is her ability to guide clients in stepping back and seeing the broader context of their lives, helping them find meaning—even in the toughest, most painful experiences.

Originally from Darien, Hailey is excited to bring her mental health expertise and passion for healing to the community that holds a special place in her heart. She recognizes that there is a significant gap in mental healthcare in the area and is committed to reaching individuals who may not otherwise seek support.

Hailey specializes in treating individuals of all genders and ages 12+ who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms/ PTSD, grief, life transitions, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She is passionate about helping people navigate their emotions, build resilience, and create lasting, positive change in their lives.
